the pattern is rows:

green & black stripe

blue basketweave

i thought 4 balls would be enough but it turns out 6 was the lucky number.
Knitting up 50g of Lambswool 12ply per a day on 6mm needles, it knitted up quickly.

i'd like to buy some yarn with a really nice sheen. it will really bring out the basketweave pattern i think.

...and then started:

green with blackstripe. and blue

I finished one scarf and immediately started another...

Pistachio scarf

I finished the Pistachio scarf. nothing flash really.
now i have to finish the bathmat scarf and try and find some colbalt blue yarn

just have to do the other armhole and the neck and im finished.

back finished

finished the back of it. cant believe i knitted it in 2 and a half days!
lts hope i dont stuff up the front.
i already have screwed it up because half way i realise i was knitting the wrong size [too small size. idiot!] so im knitting the front in a bigger size and HOPEFULLY it will come out alright. if it doesnt then ill be wearing it around the house. it wont be wasted.

Ive finished a simple scarf using cleckheaton studio mohair. Nothing amazing. I just needed a black scarf.

Im still working on the green moss stitch one from the previous post. i hadnt touched it for quite a few months. Its now a bit longer though - 24 inches.
I've run out of yarn and will now have to make a dash to Wool Baa to get some more in that dye lot.


ive decided im going to knit a vest. why? because i cant find one i like, and they are too expensive anyway. and im freezing. Maybe i should knit some long-johns...

and im a bit in love with this colour.
