Usually i knit crappy old plain "plastic wool" or that horrible Feathers stuff for something else to do, but the other day i decided to up it from balls of wool that cost no more than $3 to maybe $5. OH EERRR!
So i bought $50 worth of yarn at Lincraft the other day. some of it shown here. its all fake mohair and some weird frizzy stuff. It was to help me get out of a depressive rut.i started with the Multi-"grey" to knit a scarf. I say "grey" because i think its grey but it could be blue, since im colour blind and not entirely sure of the actual colour.
So i started the scarf that night. 7 inches wide and knitted up to 20 inches long until broke out of whatever stupor i was in for the last week, to realise i was knitting it in stockinette...and of course its curled like a mofo, obviously. which wasnt what i wanted.
so i unravalled it this morning and started again. 1k 1p 1k 1p edges with a window of stockinette.
I like the edges actually...mind you cant see them very well in this photo.So the next week im holing myself up in my house and knitting for 20 hours of the day as I cant sleep lately. So I might as well spending it knitting, right.
Today is a nice day so im going to sit out on my porch and knit and listen to the people walking past. it perfect. i know people are out there but i don t have to see them.
